Glendora at a glance
Glendora homes and their bathrooms.
Most Glendora homes, about 56%, were built in the 1950s and 1960s. If your bathroom still has its original tub, we can replace it with a walk-in shower, often in a day.

What that means for a Glendora bathroom.
Glendora's Bathroom Remodel Requirements handout says every shower and tub-shower needs a pressure-balance, thermostatic, or combination mixing valve, with shower water limited to 120°F, and it limits showerheads to 1.8 gallons per minute. On a tub-to-shower conversion we usually open all three shower walls to the studs, so the new valve goes in while the wall is open.
Wall options: Full Wall Acrylic Panel, Palisade Tile, laminate and synthetic stone, over an acrylic shower base or tub. See materials →

Does a tub-to-shower conversion need a permit in Glendora?
Yes. Glendora's Bathroom Remodel Requirements handout says a permit is required when a remodel removes and replaces or relocates a tub/shower, toilet or sink, changes the electrical, or removes and replaces gypsum board. A tub-to-shower conversion replaces the tub, so it is covered.
