What hours can bathroom work run in Cypress?
Cypress Municipal Code Section 13-70(e) allows construction noise except between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on weekdays, before 9:00 a.m. and after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and at any time on Sunday or a federal holiday.

- The city says permits are required for the installation, repair or upgrade of electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing systems.
- Building inspections are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the city recommends two days' notice to schedule one.
- For alterations, the city asks for 2 sets of plans, plus structural calculations, Title 24 energy calculations and soils reports when those documents are required.
